On July 6, a formal complaint was lodged against Indradev Chaudhary, aged 37, accusing him of the murder of his wife, Mrs. Kiran Kumari Chaudhary, aged 32, residing in Shambhunath Municipality-5, Mohanpur.
The complaint was filed by Shrinarayan Chaudhary, the deceased’s father, and has been duly registered by the Kalyanpur Area Police Office. Superintendent of Police, Narendra Karki, confirmed that the complaint was filed following the revelation of Indradev Chaudhary’s involvement. The accused was apprehended by a joint team from Police Station Kathuna and Ela Police Office Kalyanpur on July 4.
On July 3, the victim, who had retired to her room after dinner, was discovered unconscious. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries at Krishna Hospital in Shambhunath Municipality-6, Kathuna, as confirmed by the police.
The postmortem examination of the deceased was conducted on July 4 at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, located in Rajviraj Municipality-4.
