Police Arrested Dilip Kumar Ram, 22, of Lahan Municipality-12 of Siraha, on June 18, 2023, on the charge of rape of a 16-year-old girl.
Inspector Chandrakant Adhikari of District Police Office Kadarbona Saptari said that the accused arrested by Lahan police of Siraha for investigation on charges of drugs, beating, and mutilation was presented on June 18 for a rape case registered in Saptari district.
The victim said that the accused, who got to know the victim through social media and phone, took the victim to his flat in Surunga Municipality-5 Kushaha from the road on November 29, 2022. The victim said that the accused raped her repeatedly for 5 days.
The victim’s mother filed a complaint at the local police office, Kadarbona, Saptari on December 4, 2022. The health examination of the victim was done on the same day. The area police office Kadarbona registered a complaint on December 19, 2022.
