Police have arrested Manoj Bishta, 21, on the night of on the charge of killing his wife, Rangila Bhujel,22, of Bhanu Municipality-5, Maibal Hatia, residing in Byas Municipality-4.
District Police Office Tanahun, SP Awadesh Bishta informed that Bishta killed his wife Rangila Bhujel with a sharp weapon on June 9 and disposed of the body in a sack.
Rangila’s dead body was discovered by the locals of Gurung Chandanda, Byas Napa-4, on June 13.
The deceased’s father, Man Bahadur Bhujel, filed a missing report his daughter was missing on June 11. The police identified the victim based on the same application.
SP Bista said that the accused is under investigation.
