According to the CPN-UML Party, assailants attacked Ramrana Magar, a Central Member of CPN-UML and Deputy Leader of the UML Parliamentary Party of Koshi Province.
A group of people, who were protesting against the name of Koshi Province, attempted to Ranamgar while he was on his way to participate in the district-level extended meeting held on May 17, 2023, in Mangsebung Rural Municipality of Ilam.
