The bench of Judge Uddhav Bhatrai, District Court Chitwan, has given a verdict of life-sentence to a 31-year-old man, on May 14, 2023, for the crime of rape of his 11-year-old daughter.
According to District Court Registrar, Ishwar Acharya, the victim’s mother filed a complaint at the local police office in Ratnanagar against her husband on August 24, 2022. The police arrested the accused on the same day. The victim underwent a medical examination on the same day at Bharatpur Hospital. The court remanded him to judicial custody on September 16, 2022.
