The aggrieved party filed a complaint against Sarkiraj Upadhyay, 36, of Bagmati Municipality-4, at the Local Police Office, Barhathwa, on May 3, 2023, on the charge of attempted rape of a 32-year-old woman.
The victim said that the accused attempted to rape her on April 27, 2023
DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra, of the Area Police Office Barhathwa, informed that the search is on as the accused absconds.
The health examination of the victim woman was conducted on May 4, 2023, at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
