Police arrested Rizwan Ansari, 30, of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-6, on April 29, 2023, on the charge of rape of a 20-year-old girl.
The Ansari is accused of raping the victim since 2017, by threatening to kill her. The victim filed a complaint against the accused on April 28, 2023, at the District Police Office. She accused him of his last assault on March 2, 2023.
According to the police, they arrested the accused from Biratnagar for investigation.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted at Koshi Hospital on April 28, 2023.
