Dhrawaraj Pokhrel, the representative of Nepali Congress candidate Jit Narayan Shrestha, filed a complaint in the office of the Chief Election, against Ravi Lamichhane, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party and the Chief District Officer, for violating the election code of conduct of Chitwan Constituency no 2, on April 23, 2023.
Pokhrel accused Lamichhane of soliciting votes through social media, and influencing voters while the election was ongoing.
The complaint states RSP should be made to apologize, and the authority should take action against the violation of the election code of conduct at the polling station in Nayakiran Secondary School of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11.
