The aggrieved party filed a complaint, on 2 April 2023 against Salman Kawadia, 30, of Nepalganj Sub-Metropolitian City-11, on the charge of raping a 32-year-old woman on 1 April.
According to the victim the accused raped her after luring her to the house in the pretense of giving manual work.
DSP Ram Prasad Gharti Magar of the District Police Office said that the accused had absconded after the incident, and the search is on.
The health examination of the victim was conducted on 2 April at Bheri Hospital.
