Bench of District Judge Ritendra Thapa has rendered a verdict imposing five months of imprisonment to Kumar Sapkota, 28, from Gaidakot Municipality-8, in the charge of sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.
As per the registrar of he court, Ishwor Acharya, the said verdict was rendered on 2 April 2023.
Aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the area police office, Chitwan, on 26 December, stating that the accused sexually abused the girl in the bus while returning back from the picnic.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Bharatpur hospital on 26 December and the accused was arrested the same day.
