Two Injured in the FSU Election

Two people were injured in a clash amid FSU election at Janachetana Multiple Campus, Sannitriveni Rural Municipality on 19 March 2023.

Rabindra Shahi, former central member of FSU and Laxman Bam, Karnali committee member of UML from Palata Rural Municipality-7 were attacked and injured by the cadres of FSU.

FSU’s District Chairperson, Dharma Bahadur Shahi informed that the clash broke out after the cadres of FSU attempted to restrict  ANNISU-R’s cadres from casting fake vote. Rabindra Shahi and Laxman Ban suffered injuries in their head after the cadres started throwing stones and wooden chairs amid the clash.

As per the Chairperson Shahi, injured persons have been taken to the District Hospital for treatment. One injured was unidentified.

Campus Chief Pushpa Raj Sanjel informed that the cadres of FSU rejected the polling in the allegation of it being fraudulent but the cadres of ANNISU-R continued casting their votes.
