Sunil Thapa Chhetri, 21, of Parbat’s Faldewas Municipality Thapathana was arrested by District Police Office Parbat from Kushma Bazar on 18 March 2023 on the charge of rape a 16-year-old girl.
The police arrested the accused after the mother of the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office Parbat on 18 March.
Prakash Rawat, Inspector of the District Police Office, Parbat, said that the girl’s health was examined at Parbat Hospital on the same day.
Inspector Rawat informed that the accused was remanded to judicial custody under the rape, through the Public Prosecutor’s Office Parbat. The incident is under investigation.
