Police has arrested Indra Bahadur Bam, 36, of Duhu Rural Municipality-4, on 11 March in the charge of rape of a 19-year-old girl.
Inspector of District Police Office Jagat Gaha Magar informed that accused was arrested following complaint filed by aggrieved party on 11 March and the investigation is underway.
Inspector Magar further shared that a case of Rape has been lodged against the accused.
As per victim, the accused raped her while she was home alone.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at District hospital, Darchula, on 12 March 13, 2023.
