Police has arrested Netra Timalsina, 19, of Subhakalika Rural Municipality-2, in the charge of rape of a 18-year-old woman.
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the police on 4 March alleging that the accused attempted to rape the victim on 28 February while she was on her way to neighbor’s house.
Police inspector Subar Raj Bam informed that the case is under investigation.
The victim suffered from some injuries in her arms and neck while attempting to save herself from the incident. She was treated at a local medical on 2 March.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at District Hospital, Kalikot.
