Police arrested Jakir Miya alis Bidhe Baba, 55, of Surunga Municipality-5, on 1 March in the chagre of attempting to rape a 22-year-old woman.
Victim filed a complaint at the area police office Kadarbona on 9 February alleging that the accused attempted to rape he by entering to her courtyard on 7 February.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj on 9 February.
Police lodged a case of attempted rape on 1 March after arresting the accused.
