Padam Rawat, 25, of Guransh Rural Municipality-6, has been arrested by the police on 26 February in the charge of rape of a 16-year-old girl.
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police office on 21 February, allging tha the accused Rawat, who is a truck dirver, raped the victim by making her ride the turck and taking her to a river at Khadachakra Municipality-2 on 20 February.
DSP of the District Police Office, Jayashwor Rimal informed that accused has been arrested based on the complaint and the investigation is underway.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at District hospital on 21 February.
