Police arrested Mohan Lamsal, 60, of Maijogmai Rural Municipality-1, on 1 March in the charge of attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman.
Aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 28 February alleging that the accused attempted the victim on 28 December 2022.
Assistant Constable Kamal Chaudhary informed that the accused was arrested from his home shortly after the complaint was filed.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at the district hospital on 28 February 2023.
