There has been a problem in operating classes at Karnali High School under special education for hearing impaired students due to the lack of skilled and trined teachers.
The participating stakeholders expressed their problems in the program while publicizing education report organized by the school on November 15.
The hearing impaired classes are being operated as per the concept of Nepal Government from the last 12 years. There are 33 hearing impaired students in the school however only five teachers are compelled to teach team according to principal Min Raj Sharma.
Teacher Devendra Timilsina said that there is a problem of room management and other resources for operating hearing impaired classes. There are not even a budget allocated for the treatment of hearing impaired students, he said. He said that Karnali Health Academy has been requested to give discount on their treatment.
