Police arrested Kamlesh Kumar Gupta, 29, of Gugauli, Bijayanagar Rural Municipality-1, on June 28, on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint on June 28 at the Area Police Office, Ganeshpur, accusing Gupta of raping the victim on June 24.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 28 at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
