The police have arrested Naresh Giri, 47, of Bhimdatta Municipality-10, and Hira Nath, 40, of Bhimdatta Municipality-9, on March 11 on charges of gang-raping a 12-year-old girl on the same day.
S.P. Khadka Bahadur Khatri of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, said that the victim’s family filed a complaint with the police on March 11.
The victim underwent a medical examination on March 11 at the district hospital, Kanchanpur.
