After the severe beating of husband Narayan Seren, 33, his wife Pano Tudu, 32, of Jahada Rural Municipality-7 has lost her life.
Narayan had beaten his wife during a domestic dispute after consuming alcohol on April 12, 2022, informed DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office.
According to DSP Shrestha, the victim was injured after the beating and died during treatment at Koshi Hospital on April 14.
According to DSP Shrestha, the accused had absconded after beating his wife and the search is ongoing.
The post-mortem of the victim will be conducted at Koshi Hospital.
