More than 7,002 people in Kapilvastu have registered their names on the voter list within the time period specified by the Election Commission for the election to be held on 5 March. According to Nischal Moktan, Information Officer at the District Election Office, 7,245 new voters have been added in the district in recent times. This increase in the voter list has been made through coordination between the Department of National ID and Civil Registration and the District Election Office.
Information Officer Moktan stated that during the voter list collection from 26 September to 21 November, a total of 7,245 voters registered their names in the district, of which 7,209 were from Kapilvastu and 36 were from other districts.
