Bishnu Devi Acharya Paudel, 31 has been arrested by the police on November 16, 2025, for allegedly killing her 4-year-old daughter, Kaushila Paudel, also known as Ainka, from Kalleri Thanachaur, Bhumikasthan Municipality–4.
According to the complaint, the mother allegedly attacked her daughter’s neck with a sickle while cutting vegetables during breakfast preparation at home, where only the mother and daughter were present, resulting in the child’s death. The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on November 16, 2025. Based on the complaint, the accused was arrested from her home the same day, and further investigation into the incident is underway, said Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma of the District Police Office.
The body was autopsied on November 16, 2025, at Arghakhanchi District Hospital, Sandhikharka, and handed over to the family on the same day.
