Police arrested a 32-year-old man from Kamal Rural Municipality-5 on October 23 for the charge of raping his 16-year-old niece. According to police, the aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Damak Police Office the same day, accusing that he raped the victim on October 23. Based on the complaint, police took the accused into custody for investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination on October 24 at Mechi Provincial Hospital in Bhadrapur.
