The Morang Jail Administration has reported that Kajiman Sarki,50, from Urlabari Municipality-6, a detainee in Morang District Jail died during medical treatment on October 11 at Koshi Hospital. He was waiting for his trial in a narcotics-related case as per jailer Gaurav Dhungel stated.Jailer Dhungel stated that Sarki was admitted to Koshi Hospital on October 11 after he faced low blood pressure and vomiting. However, upon being admitted to the hospital’s emergency ward, the doctors declared him dead.
The victim’s family received the body on October 11 and cremated it the same day at Bakraha Ghat, Urlabari Municipality-2.
