Six bodies were found at Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Chuchepati, Kathmandu on September 14, 2025 according to SP Apil Bohora, Spokesperson of the Kathmandu District Police Office. The bodies were found burnt and the remains have been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination.
During the Gen-Z protest, demonstrators vandalized and set fire to the Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Chuchepati on September 9, 2025 which completely destroyed the supermarket.
