The District Administration Office of Pyuthan issued a curfew under Section 6(a) of the Local Administration Act, 1971, from 5:00 pm on 10 September until 6:00 am on 11 September. The order, issued by Chief District Officer Dipkaraj Nepal, prohibits any gatherings, rallies, assemblies, meetings, blockades, or movement on main and inner roads, and in market areas of Pyuthan Municipality Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, the entire area of Mallarani Rural Municipality-4, and the Pyuthan-Rolpa section of the Daag-Pyuthan-Rolpa highway.
Previously the curfew imposed from 4:00 p.m. on 9 September, had been lifted at 9:00 a.m. on 10 September.
