Floods caused by continuous rainfall affected 10 houses in Gichihani, Dudhauli Municipality–1, Sindhuli. A woman was injured when the Bichitra river overflowed into the Rural Municipality.According to DSP Lal Dhwaj Subedi of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, the injured Bhadra Kumari Danuwar, 59, was rescued and taken to Dudhauli Municipal Hospital, Sirthauli, for treatment.
Police reported that the houses of locals Bhadra Kumari Danuwar, Dhyanwati Danuwar, Buddhalal Danuwar, Asha Adhikari Danuwar, Sangita Thapa, Laxmi Danuwar, Shivanath Danuwar, Nisha Danuwar, Brijlal Danuwar, and Kedar Giri were affected by the flood. The affected families were immediately relocated to safe areas and provided with temporary shelter.
