The Jhumka Jail Administration has reported that Rupak Paudel Khatri, 28, from Dapring Chuichumma Rural Municipality-2, Khotang escaped from theJail on the night of August 12. It is reported that Khatri was serving a sentence for a rape case. He reportedly climbed over the jail wall to flee.
A joint team comprising the Armed Police Force security base at Jhumka and the Nepal Police has been deployed to search for Khatri.
