Police arrested Kalu Sunar, 50, on June 15 for the charge of strangling his wife Junadevi Sunar,48, to death in Muktitol, Shuklaphanta Municipality-10. DSP Sagar Bohara of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur stated that the accused allegedly killed his wife on the night of June 14 following a domestic dispute. He was arrested based on a complaint filed regarding the incident, and further investigation is ongoing.
The victim died during treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital, Kailali. The post-mortem was done on June 15 at the same hospital.
