A complaint was filed against Basudev Aahir, 47, of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2 at the District Police Office on June 10 alleging him of raping a 65-year-old woman on June 5. DSP Mohanmani Adhikari of the District Police Office, Kapilvastu informed that the accused has been absconding since the incident and the search is ongoing.
The health examination of the woman was done on June 10 at the Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
