Police arrested 30-year-old Annie Kunwar on April 7, 2025 from Godawari Municipality-2, Bishankhunarayan, on charges of involvement in the violent incident that occurred during the pro-monarchy protest in Tinkune. A video showing Annie exiting the building where journalist Suresh Rajak was found dead was made public on social media.
An official from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office stated that they arrested Annie for investigation, as the journalist died there, and at almost the same time, she was seen leaving the building.
