Police arrested Meghnath Yadav, 40, of Birgunj Sub-Municipality-32 for attempting to rape a 58-year-old woman. The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Parsa on March 16 alleging that the accused attempted to rape her at her home on the same day.
Subsequently, the court granted a six-day extension for investigation, according to SP Gautam Mishra. The health examination of the victim was done on March 16 at the Narayani Hospital.
