In a case of rape involving a 16-year-old girl, 25-year-old Bikki Damai of Rampur Municipality-2 has been sentenced to two years in prison by the Palpa District Court. On January 26, Judge Dal Bahadur KC bench announced the sentence, which includes two years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,000, according to the court’s registrar Keshab Parajuli.
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Palpa on June 7, accusing the accused of raping the victim on June May 16, 2024. The police arrested the accused on June 7, 2025, and began the investigation. The victim’s health check-up was conducted at Palpa Hospital on June 7, 2024.
