Police arrested 36-year-old Chudamani Pariyar of Kawasoti Municipality-1 on October 29 for the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl . The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the police on 29 October alleging that the accused had raped the victim on the same day. Assistant Constable of District Police Office Nawalparasi East Balendra Chhetri said that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the same complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done on 30 October at the District Hospital.
