The District Court sentenced a 15-year-old juvenile for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl. Information Officer Suresh Malla of the District Court informed INSEC that the bench of District Court Judge Bhishmaraj Prasai on September 2 sentenced him to four months imprisonment, along with a fine of Rs 20,000 and compensation of Rs 25,000 to the victim.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, on February 12 alleging that the accused had sexually abused the victim on February 8. Subsequently, poluce arrested the boy on the same day. The health examination of the victim was done on February 12 at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj.
