The Services at the Khadadevi Health Post in Khadadevi Rural Municipality-7 have been affected after a landslide collapsed the building on August 1.

The landslide that fell above the Health Post building caused the wall to collapse, damaging medicines and other items. Krishna Bahadur Karki, Ward Chairperson of Khadadevi-7, informed that even the medication for daily use was destroyed by the landslide. According to Karki, one of the two buildings of the health post has been destroyed by the landslide, and the other building is also at risk. After the building where children are vaccinated and medicine is stored was damaged, daily services are now operated in another building. He mentioned that this situation has created difficulties for health workers in treating patients.

Similarly, the Shri Krishna Secondary School building, located just above the health post, is also at risk due to the landslide. Ward Chairperson Karki expressed his concern that the school building may face damage by future landslides. He added that he had spoken to the Chairperson of the Rural Municipality, Gyan Kumar Shrestha, who assured him that they would solve this matter by sending a technician soon.
