Police rescued six girls from a guest house in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 Koteshwar on 18 July.
Gautam Mishra, information officer of the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau (AHTB) ,Nepal Police informed that the staff of the Bureau rescued them from the guest house based on the information indicating their involvement in antisocial activities.
Mishra, information officer of the Bureau, informed that the victims were rescued after receiving information that they were lured into anti-social work by giving economic temptation at the Ramechhap Khaja ghar and Guesthouse run by Nabeen Thapa of Ramechhap.
He stated that Thapa and Ujjwal Khadka from Kageshwari Manohara, Kathmandu, were arrested on July 18 for their alleged involvement in illegal activities, including human trafficking, and the district court decided to extend the investigation period by five days.
