Mehendra Budha, a 13-year-old boy of Barekot Village-3 earthquake-affected Budhagau, has gone missing after being swept away by the river.
DSP Purushottam Prasad Pandey of the District Police Office reported that a boy went missing on 18th July after being swept away by the Syali River while returning from the jungle.
Bhakta Bahadur Budha, the father of the missing child, has requested the police administration to conduct a search and rescue operation to find his son.
DSP Pandey informed that upon receiving the report of the missing child, police teams from various units in Barekot, along with local residents, are searching for the child.
