Police arrested 31-year-old Bibekananda Yadav of Godaita Municipality-8 on 25 June for attempting to rape of a 32-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Malangwa on 1 August, 2022 alleging that the accused threatened the victim and attempted to rape her on 27 June 2022.
DSP Dipak Shrestha of District Police Office, Malangwa has informed that the accused was arrested on 25 June 2024. Additionally, the investigation is currently underway following the one week extension granted by the District Court .
The health examination of the victim was done on 2 August 2022 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
