The District Court sentenced 21-year-old Subhash Jirel of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-1 to 25 years imprisonment on May 8 for raping a four-year-old girl.
Bhupendra Bahadur Thing, Chairperson of the District Bar Unit, said that the bench of Bhagwati Sharma Dhungana sentenced the accused to 25 years of imprisonment.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Barhabise on 9 April alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 5 April.
The health examination of the victim was done on 5 April at Primary Health Center, Barhabise.
