The District Police Malangwa arrested 28-years-old Jagarnath Raya Yadav of Parsa Municipality-6 on 25 April for allegedly raping a 16-year-old minor.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Malangwa District Police Office on January 24 alleging that the accused threatened and raped the victim on January 17, 2024.
DSP Dipak Shrestha of the District Police Office Malangwa informed that the accused was arrested on 25 April. Subsequently, the District Court extended the investigation period by one week on the same day.
The health examination of the victim was done on 25 January at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
