The District Court sentenced 21-years-old Chandreshwar Bina of Bihar, India on 16 April for raping a 3-year-old minor.
Registrar Bishnu Acharya of the District Court informed that the bench of Nirmala Sharma Subedi found the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
It is reported that the aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Ratnanagar on 29 March, 2022 alleging that he had raped the victim on 24 March. Following the complaint, the police arrested the accused on the same day.
On April 19, 2022 the bench of the District Court Judge Hemant Rawal ordered to keep him in custody for pre-trial detention.
The health examination of the victim was done on 29 March at Bharatpur Hospital.
