Police arrested 20-year-old Suman Patel of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 on March 30, 2024 for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. A complaint was filed against the accused at the District Police Office on 22 February alleging that he had raped the victim on 16 February.
DSP Shriram Bhandari of the District Police Office reported that the accused was absconding after the incident. However, he has now been arrested from Bharatpur.
The health examination of the victim was done on 22 February at Bharatpur Hospital.
