Police arrested 55-year-old Min Bahadur Thapa of Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-6 Jamiswara on February 4 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The police arrested the accused on the basis of the complaint filed by the victim’s mother on February 4 alleging that he raped the victim on February 2.
Police Inspector Shekhar Khanal said that a case was registered against the accused in the district court on February 5 and permission was granted for further investigation. The health examination of the victim was done on February 4 at Gorkha Hospital.
