Police arrested 37-year-old Nabaraj Ghimire of Siranchok Rural Municipality-5 on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl on December 31.
The aggrieved party lodged a complaint at the district police office on December 31 alleging that the victim had been sexually abused the same day.
DSP Ramesh Kumar Shrestha of District Police Office Gorkha informed that a case has been registered against the accused under the heading of child sexual abuse.
The health examination of the victim was done on January 1 at Pugate District Hospital, Gorkha.
