Police arrested 36-year-old Ratna Bahadur Gharti on December 28 on the charge of killing his 29-year-old wife Rekha Gharti,of Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-7 Takam of Myagdi and currently living in Pokhara Metropolitan City-29 Naubise Chowk.
DSP Shrawan Kumar BK of the District Police Office reported that, according to information provided by locals, the accused, Ratna Bahadur Gharti, strangled his wife, Rekha Gharti, to death in a mustard garden located at Naubise Chowk, Pokhara Metropolitan City-29 on the afternoon of December 28. As per BK the postmortem of the body will be done today at Pokhara Academy of Health and Science.
