The District Court has made the decision to adjourn the case involving 21-year-old Jitendra Yadav and 20-year-old Santosh Yadav from Navrajpur Rural Municipality-3, who are accused of raping a 17-year-old girl.
The decision was made by a single bench of honorable judge Manoj KC of District Court. The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office in Lahan on March 12, 2022, alleging that the accused raped her on March 9.
The health examination of the victim was done on March 12, 2022 at the Ramkumar Uma Prasad Memorial Hospital in Lahan. The Area Police Office Lahan registered a complaint on the same day.
The District Court filed a charge sheet and issued an arrest warrant along with a search warrant on March 2, 2023, however, the accused are not arrested yet.
