Police arrested Garbha Majhi, 32, of Khairahani Municipality-10, Musahar Basti on December 13 for the charge of beating his 27-year-old wife Radhika Majhi.
The aggrieved party filed a verbal complaint against the accused Majhi on December 13, at the District Police Office.
According to DSP Bijayraj Pandit of the District Police Office, the accused allegedly assaulted his wife by striking her with a stone on December 13, during a domestic dispute. He informed that the victim was seriously injured in the beating.
The victim is being treated at Bharatpur Hospital.
