Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that he is taking steps to conclude the transitional justice process, ensuring that the victims experience justice.
Prime Minister Dahal addressed that he is undertaking initiatives to build a national consensus and conclude the transitional justice process during the 75th International Human Rights Day program organized by the National Human Rights Commission on December 10 in Lalitpur.
Highlighting the delay in completing the transitional justice process, he reaffirmed his commitment to delivering justice within the existing legal framework. He expressed his intent to amend the law in accordance with the Supreme Court’s order, suggestions and recommendations from the National Human Rights Commission, and international standards.
